Points to Ponder

Tidbits and Thoughts About Life and Death
I recently read an article that was telling me that bucket lists were bad for people.   I sighed heavily as I read on.   It told me that bucket lists create a lose/lose situation.   The writer went on to say that only two things can happen with the items on the list.   The first one is that you may not be able to check it off and thus would feel like a failure.   The second thing that could happen is that you do manage to cross something off your list, and it just wouldn’t be as great or exciting as you thought it would be, thus leaving you disappointed. I was completely stunned.  I want to ask the author if we should even bother setting goals or aspire to achieve our dreams.  We wouldn’t want to be disappointed. (Insert sarcasm font here 🙂 )
